It started as an attempt to tame the rough Kansas territory more than 160 years ago and has evolved into a comprehensive and highly respected university.
Passing on the traditions
Baker University’s class of 1891 began the tradition of naming itself and at graduation bequeathing its title to the incoming freshman class. There are four class organizations:
Schedule a visit
During a personalized visit you will meet with your admissions counselor to learn more about Baker and the admissions process, and you will get a customized campus tour from a current BU student. You also have the option of meeting with a professor in your field, depending on schedules. Athletes can meet with coaches. If you choose, you can learn more about Baker’s performing arts participation.
